This insightful event brought to you by admission counselors, Emily Pacheco from Loyola Chicago and Sebastian Brown from The University of Oregon, talks about the new questions counselors are facing from students and counselors about the use of AI in the college application process. How do their institutions view AI in admissions? Where is it ethically acceptable to use AI when applying, and where should it be avoided? These are questions counselors haven't dealt with before but will encounter more frequently as AI usage grows.
While many universities have AI policies for faculty and students, few provide specific guidelines for applicants. This lack of clarity leaves admission counselors responsible for addressing these questions, often without concrete institutional guidance.
This webinar equips admission counselors with practical insights into how they can better understand and discuss AI use with students, including the ethical considerations surrounding its application.
